ABSTRACT
The importance of natural flora is well known by the scientific
community. The medicinal plant gifted by nature have by explored by
the humans to find out their respective values in the medicinal field.
Times to time there have been report regarding the medicinal plants
having huge possibilities for use . In the above article a similar kind of
plant have been described , which have been reported for many
medicinal uses. The plant Crateva magna is a potent medicinal plant in
the Indian systems of medicine. Traditionally used for inflammation,
fever, arthritis, bronchitis, urinary calculi and cough. Various parts of
the plant has been used in traditional medicine such as stem and bark.
The present study was aimed at pharmacognostic evaluation of
different parts ( Leaf, Stem and Bark) of C.magna.
