THE IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CARE ON JOB SATISFACTION AMONG HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS IN KARACHI

ABSTRACT
Objective: The health system of Pakistan is currently undergoing major reforms. Healthcare professionals’ satisfaction in their jobs would determine the quality of the service delivery for their respective communities. Therefore the present study was conducted to assess the impact of organizational care on job performance amongst healthcare workers of tertiary care facilities in Karachi. Methodology: A cross sectional study with self-administered structured questionnaire was conducted to assess the impact of organizational care on job performance amongst healthcare professionals of tertiary care facilities in Karachi. The study included a sample of 134 healthcare professionals selected through convince sample technique and were rendering their services in three tertiary care facilities of Karachi.
