KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDES AND PRACTICES OF SURGEONS ABOUT LAPAROSCOPIC CHOLECYSTECTOMY: A SURVEY

ABSTRACT
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a method of choice for the surgeons due to low operative morbidity and significant economic impact. But complications are also faced by the surgeons as gallstone spillage, biliary tract puncture. The good knowledge, attitude and practices can prevent by the copmplications during the procedure. The aim of this survey was to study the knowledge, attitude, and practices of surgeons and staff working in the department of surgery in various hospitals of Uttar Pradesh, India.
