HEAVY METAL LEVEL IN SURFACE WATER OF AURANGABAD CITY, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA.

ABSTRACT
Water samples from 7 different locations were collected and analyzed to know the content of Cu, Ni and Cr, through AAS method. Level of these metals found to be very high and statistically significant and exceeding permissible limit suggested by WHO (World Health Organization) (1985) for domestic and human consumption.
