SULFO DISACCHARIDES CO-WORKING WITH KLOTHO STUDIES ON STRUCTURE, STRUCTURE ACTIVITY RELATION AND FUNCTION

ABSTRACT

I found sulfo disaccharides which co-working with Klotho. In order to find the structures of the disaccharides and what kind of　structures are necessary to work with Klotho, several disaccharides were prepared. Structure /activity relationship was studied. Possible structures of the disaccharide were proposed. The disaccharides have similar structure with hyalunoic acid and chondroitin. Relations of the disaccharide,Klotho, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin, glucosamine with health and anti-ageing were discussed. The hypothesis that Klotho makes disaccharide from glucosamin and glucuronic acid and co-works with produced disaccharide and gives stable Ca homeostasis and consequent health and anti-ageing was proposed.
