Abstract

INVESTIGATION AND EVALUATION OF THE FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES OF AN INTEGRATED INFORMATIONAL SYSTEM AT MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF SOFIA

ABSTRACT

Structural analysis was made and the constitutional informational systems (IS) of the integrated informational system "Students" (IIS) at Medical University of Sofia (MU-Sofia) were characterized. Assessed and characterized were the functional capabilities of every one of the constituent IS of IIS "Students" at MU-Sofia. The matter of integrating of IIS "Students" at MU-Sofia with IS of Ministry of Education and Science (MES), of National Institute of Statistics (NIS) and archive informational system of Medical University of Sofia. The results received were illustrated with specific description schemes. Assessment of the functional capabilities of IIS "Students" of MU- Sofia was provided.
