ABSTRACT
Endosulfan is an organochlorine insecticide and acaricide used in agriculture. Sublethal dose of (0.32 ppm/kg-1) of endosulfan was injected intra dermally to Swiss albino rats and its effect was studied for 15, 30 and 45 days of duration. There was significant decrease in protein level might be due to malfunction of liver and damage of hepatic cells. Decline in glucose level due to increased catabolism of bimolecules to meet energy demand in the polluted environment so that animal can overcome stress caused by endosulfan. In the present study decreased in protein and glucose level was observed for prolonged period of exposure to endosulfan.Endosulphan causes gasterointestinal problem causing pancreatic inflammation.
