ABSTRACT

While designing the any pharmaceutical product excipient / additive play an important role in dosage form manufacture and performance of medications. For optimum inclusion the choice of excipient should be important, however, interactions between a drug and the additive with which it is co-formulated in a medication can compromise the quality, efficacy or even safety of the product. Such effects may be due to direct drug excipient interactions or reactions between drug and residues or impurities in the excipient. The use of natural additive to deliver the bioactive agents has been hampered by the synthetic materials are non-toxic, less expensive and easily available. The quality of medicine is depent by the quality and performance of excipient. The pharmaceutical industry is marketing refinement in the physical structure of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). In this article we are focus on the all excipient and ingredient used in the pharmaceutical product which increase its effectiveness Global excipient markets are expected to grow rapidly with the emerging trends in the pharmaceutical industry.
