ABSTRACT
In the present life the microbes are getting resistant to the antibiotics.
We have a good source of antimicrobial compounds around us, and
directed us to the study for the presence of antimicrobial activity
shown by the Hibiscus rosa-sinensis. The chloroform, petroleum ether,
ethanol and ethyl acetate extracts of roots, leaves and flowers of the
plant are isolated and used for testing antimicrobial activity.
