Varun. P, S. Giridhar* and Sudheer Babu. I

ABSTRACT

The extent to which different foods affect your blood sugar levels also influences how hungry you will feel. It is mostly foods that contain carbohydrates, such as bread, pasta and rice, which can make your blood sugar levels go up. The more your blood sugar level swings after eating, the more likely you are to have uneven energy levels and to crave more carbohydrate-containing foods in the next several hours. Most types of rice are quickly digested into sugar that can result in high blood sugar levels and increased hunger. Since majority of people consume rice or wheat as their staple food. All these carbohydrates are broken down into sugar and end up in your blood after eating rice. This will significantly increase your blood sugar levels. This research article concentrates on each diet as per plan below which is rich in carbohydrate with different varieties of rice such as sona masuri (Golden ivy), swarna masuri, PL, which are most commonly used in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamilnadu and Kerala.

Keywords: Diabetes mellitus, Sona masuri, Swarna masuri, pl.
