ABSTRACT

Alfuzosin is selective α1-Adrenergic blocker indicated for the treatment of signs and symptoms of benign prostatic heperplasia. The present investigation was aimed to formulate and evaluate gastro retentive drug delivery system of Alfuzosin hydrochloride. Gastro retentive Alfuzosin hydrochloride (10 mg) tablet was prepared by direct compression method. The tablets were evaluated for in vitro release profile and various evaluation parameters.
