ABSTRACT
There are many pharmacological properties of plant phytochemicals that determine their suitability to be used for medicinal purposes. Differentiation of phytochemical properties of plant compounds are done, based on their properties as physio-chemical characteristics, pharmacokinetic properties, structural or biochemical properties. The class of phytochemicals, have found wide variety of application that serves mankind. Its derivatives are used in medicine, pesticide, as solvents etc. Two quinoline derivatives are characterized in this study to identify their suitability as possible drug molecules. These compounds were found to exhibit suitability based on their pharmacological properties and provide lead to be investigated as promising drug molecules
Keywords: Phytochemical, medicinal, pharmacophore, indigenous, modeling, druggability.
