ABSTRACT
The article presents the results of research of lectins content in leaves of 12 species of the genus Sedum L. from the collection of herbaceous plants of the O.V. Fomin Botanical Garden (Kyiv, Ukraine). It is considered the change in lectin activity during a process of plant vegetation. The samples of plant material were collected during the vegetation season (spring - summer - autumn). It has been determined that the maximum estimated values (hemagglutination reaction titer 26-210) was observed in most samples (9 from 12), that were collected during the active plants vegetation in summer during budding and flowering.
Keywords: Sedum L., lectins, hemagglutination reaction.
