ABSTRACT The term Green Chemistry was coined by Paul T. Anastas in 1991. Green Chemistry promotes innovative chemical technologies that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances in the design, manufacture and use of chemical products. Green Chemistry is designed to reduce waste products, non-toxic components and improved efficiency.
