Abstract

QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF XANTHONES, FLAVONOIDS AND CARBOHYDRATES IN LOMATOGONIUM CARINTHIACUM (WULFEN) A. BR.

ABSTRACT

The content of different biologically active substances was defined in aerial part of Lomatogonium carinthiacum (Wulfen) A.Br., (Gentianaceae). Sucrose (2,37 %), fructose (1,80 %), glucose (21,87 %), oxalic acid (11,5 %), succinic acid (28,85 %), fumaric acid (20,24 %) were identified in aerial part of L. carinthiacum. The content of luteolin, erythocentaurin, swertiaperenin, decussatin, mangiferin was defined in raw material and dry extract of L. carinthiacum using HPLC method. Total content of flavonoids and carbohydrates was measured by spectrophotometric method.
