ABSTRACT
Our aim is to develop a promising anti-HIV drug from elite medicinal plants obtainable in Kolli Hills and adjoining downstream areas of Namakkal district of Tamilnadu state India. The restrictive effects of three medicinal plants specifically Hybanthus enneaspermus, Enicostemma axillare and Terminalia bellerica on reverse transcriptase inhibition assay were evaluated. Potent restrictive result on HIV was incontestable by numerous solvents of the chosen plants.
