ABSTRACT
Acne represents a significant challenge to dermatologists because of its
prevalence, complexity and range of clinical expression. Acne is the
nightmare for the modern age society. The sebaceous gland and oil
gland is the key factor for the acne vulgaris. P.acne, the pathogenic
bacteria causes the inflammatory microcomedo .The sulfar and the
antibiotics were the past and effective treatment but with
modernization the treatment change and curability is within the hand of
the teenage people. It is the single most common skin disease affecting
85% of teenage boys and 80% of teenage girls and can continue
throughout adulthood. Acne vulgaris and its associated scarring and
comedones (blackheads) are commonly seen in adolescents, but can
also occur in adults. Acne isn’t always an easy condition to deal with because of the often
complicated underlying causes. Treatment of acne with topical and systemic allopathic
medicines results in mild to severe side effects. Hence, herbs and herbal preparations play a
significant role as alternative line of treatment. Natural therapists are frequently called on to
assist in the resolution of the disease. While constitutional treatment aimed at prescribing on
the totality of the symptoms is always the preferred method of using natural resource, there
are a number of remedies that are commonly prescribed for those suffering from this disease.
