ANTI-INFLAMMATORY EFFECTS OF ROOTS OF TERMINALIA PALLIDA AND BOSWELLIA OVALIFOLIOLATA

ABSTRACT
Terminalia pallida Brandis and Boswellia ovalifoliolata most widely found plants in the India. Methanolic and nHexane extract of Terminalia pallida roots and Boswellia ovalifoliolata roots were analysed for anti inflammatory activity. The effect of methanolic and n-Hexane extracts of roots of Terminalia pallida Brandis and Boswellia ovalifoliolata significantly in 200,400 and 600 mg/kg p.o dosage, showed anti-inflammatory activity (acute and chronic models).
