ABSTRACT
The aim of current study is to assess the willingnessofthe population to be vaccinated with conjugated vaccines and to propose a method for effective determination of bound protein content in conjugated vaccines. A structured questionnaire is applied in order to assess the level of acceptance among the pharmacy patients aged 18-75 years. The results obtained are statistically processed by SPSS ver. 17.0. The Sequential Probability Ratio Test is applied. UV - spectrophotometry is applied on І) Reference standard: bovine serum albumin; ІI) Reagents with analytical grade quality: sodium edentate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, aluminium hydroxide, distilled water; III) Synflorix vaccine batch N: ASPNA259AE (Glaxo Smith Cline). Relatively small cohort from the patients are ready to vaccinate themselves despite the risk of development of some diseases. The main reason is the quality of the vaccines. That is why a quality control method was proposed. For quality control of bound protein in conjugated vaccines is applied UV-spectrophotometric method. All data for the obtained content of protein in model mixtures and vaccine correspond to the relevant confidence interval: 15.13 17.65 (СP17); 39.54 42.28 (СP40.5 ), 63.12 64.52 (СP64).
Keywords: sodium edentate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, aluminium hydroxide, distilled water.
