ABSTRACT
Osteoporosis (means porous bones) is the condition in which a low
bone mass and altered microarchitecture of the bone leads to increased
risk of fracture. The various conventional as well as novel delivery
systems have been used in the treatment of osteoporosis. In the current
review we give a brief introduction about the various novel delivery
systems for the treatment of osteoporosis. Problems like dosing related
problem, patient incompliance, various side effects caused by
conventional systems have been overcome by these novel systems.
However there is need to fall a deep light or we have to emphasize
more on the novel drug delivery systems for the better results in the
future for the management of osteoporosis.
