ABSTRACT
Computer aided drug designing has recently attracted attention of
synthetic organic chemists. PASS (Prediction of Activity Spectra for
Substances) is a very simple tool for prediction probable activity
theoretically on the basis of molecular structure. In the present
investigation hydroxytriazenes namely 3-Hydroxy-3-phenyl-1-psuphonato(sodium salt) phenyltriazene (HPST) and 3-hydroxy-3-mtolyl-1-p-sulphonato (sodium salt) phenyltrizene have been synthesized
and Their chemical structure was confirmed by physicochemical
method. Synthesized compounds have been screened using PASS
(http://www.195.172.207.233/PASS) for probable activities and good
antiviral activities along with number of other activities have been predicted. However these
have to be validated by experimental bioassay.
Keywords: Hydroxytriazene, Sulphonato (sodium salt) Phenyl Triazene, PASS and Activity prediction.
