Abstract

Gunjan Mahajan*, Sejal Adlikar, Savita Jaiswar, Sanket Jogle, Pradnya Gawade, Sana Sheikh

ABSTRACT

3D printing is turning the pharma sector ups and downs clockwise, thus introducing a perfect wave of innovation that accepts it as a fact that medicine is no longer what it was. Imagine how exciting it would be to receive medication that is designed just for you to suit your particular health needs. This is the wonders of 3D printing, which separates materials to create personalized drug forms and medical devices, making treatment more efficient and true. A high flying development is the idea of the "polypill," which contains many medications in one easy-to-swallow pill. The pill is guaranteed to be a blessing for patients with the elderly who require several medications, thereby making complex routines more manageable for them. Furthermore, personal medical devices are possible to be made—inhalers or implants, which are custom-made and use materials that give a patient the greatest of comfort. Such a case would surely outweigh the negative of not being able to use the device. However, at the same time, it seems clear that the road to future discoveries is almost limitless. 3D printing, on the other hand, ensures rapid organ transplantation within a short time and hence saves more lives. This being all about creating a healthy experience for people that is personal, efficient, as well as available to the masses, technology makes it possible. The future of medicine has already been here, and it was craftily manufactured for you alone.
