REVIEW ARTICLE ON NEONATAL JAUNDICE HYPER BILIRUBINEMIA

ABSTRACT
The most prevalent morbidity in the neonatal period is hyperbilirubinaemia, and 5–10% of neonates need medical attention forpathological jaundice. Physiological jaundice in newborns exclusivelybreastfed differs from that of those fed artificially. The approachincludes guidelines from the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP)for treating jaundice in a full-term newborn.
