A CONCEPTUAL STUDY OF DADRU W.S.R TINEA CORPORIS

ABSTRACT

Skin is also a reflection of mind and soul. Its mirror the health of theindividual. It is also targeting organ for many infections. Differenttypes of pollution, lack of proper diet, uses of various cosmetic,chemicals all this leads prevalence of skin diseases day by day. All theskin diseases in Ayurveda have been described under the heading of'Kustha'. Dadru is type of Kshudra Kushtha. "Sakandu-rag-pidakmdadru" it's the one-line unique identity of Dadru. Now days TineaInfection is one of the burning problem.it is a rash caused by a fungalinfection. It's usually an itchy, circular rash with clearer skin in themiddle. As per modem science the skin disease treatment is incompletewithout steroids which have many side-effects. Our traditional lifescience Ayurveda there is lots of description and aetiopathogenesisright from Vedic and Samhitas period have most effective solution forDadru.
