AN AYURVEDIC REVIEW ARTICLE ON TUBAL BLOCKAGE

ABSTRACT

The structural explanation of Ayurveda is variable from modern medical science. Ayurveda is based more on the principles than the structures. Ayurveda does based on the Anumana, Aaptopadesha and Pratyaksha Pramana, while Modern science is based on the only Pratyaksha Pramana. This Aartavavaha Srotas can be co-related with the fallopian tubes because these are the structures responsible to carry the Aartava i.e. ovum. Infertility is also directly related to the abnormality of tubes. Any damage to these tubes may lead to infertility by restricting the fertilization. Dyspareunia is also a very important feature of the infection or any type of inflammation of tubes. Infertility is a appearance of tubal blockage in 25 – 30 % of all cases, which is a significance of inflammation of fallopian tubes i.e. Salpingitis.
