ABSTRACT
Aim: To evaluate the effect of different obturating techniques (cold lateral condensation, single cone and warm vertical condensation) on the pushout bond strength of bioceramic sealer. Methods: Thirty teeth with single roots were chosen. Then these samples were randomly distributed among three groups.• Group I (n=10): root canals obturated with F4protaperpoint and bioceramic sealer using cold lateral condensation.• group II (n=10): root canals obturated with F4 protaper point and bioceramic sealer using single cone obturation technique.• group III (n=10): root canals obturated with F4 protaper point and bioceramic sealer using warm vertical condensation.• A radiograph was made for each root to verify the absence of voids. The specimens were stored for 2 weeks at 37C in 100% humidity to allow the sealers to set.• The force required to dislodge the obturation materials from the canal was measured using Universal testing machine.
Inferential Statistics: One-way ANOVA test followed by Tukey’s post hoc analysis will be used to effect of different obturation techniques on the pushout bond strength of a bioceramic sealer-an invitro study. The level of significance [P-Value] will be set at P<0.05.Results• Bioceramic sealers showed favorable bond strengths while used in an Single cone obturation technique. Conclusion• Under the limitations of this study, it can be concluded that bioceramic sealers showed favorable bond strengths while used in an Single cone obturation technique.
Keywords: Thirty teeth with single roots were chosen.
