Abstract

EVALUATION OF PHYSICOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF BORE WELL WATER FROM DIFFERENT LOCALITIES OF KUTCH REGION, GUJARAT

ABSTRACT

The present study aims to find out the physicochemical parameters of bore well water used for drinking and agriculture purposes in Kutch region of Gujarat state. Total nine water samples collected from the different areas during the month of march 2024 and analyzed for parameters like colour, odour, PH, TS, TDS, total hardness, total alkalinity, salinity, turbidity, chloride, sulphate etc. To assess the quality of groundwater, each parameter was compared with the standard desirable limit of that parameter in drinking water as prescribed WHO.
