ABSTRACT
Nutraceutical is a term that does not belong to either the food or drug categories. It is a physiologically active chemical that improves health and prevents disease. The following information highlights several types of natural foods that are utilised as nutraceuticals, the importance of nutraceuticals, and the present state of the industry. The use of nutraceuticals has expanded significantly as individuals believe in them and are concerned about their health. Nutraceuticals are utilised as a substitute or alternative to other chemical products and pharmaceuticals because they are less expensive, safer, and more effective. Because of these, nutraceuticals will be used worldwide in the next years.
