ABSTRACT
The complex combination of peptides and enzymes found in bee venom has drawn growing interest due to its possible anticancer effects. This review explores the uses of bee venom as a treatment for cancer. We investigate the fundamental processes via which components of bee venom suppress tumour development, kill cancer cells, and alter the immune system. We also address the prospects and limitations in this sector and go over the clinical data in favour of bee venom-based medicines. This review attempts to enhance the creation of novel bee venom-based cancer therapies by providing an overview of the state of knowledge and suggesting future research avenues.
