ABSTRACT

In this world medicinal plants have been playing an essential role in the development of human culture. As a source of medicine, Medicinal plants have been integral to human health care system since ancient time and highlighting their diverse application in threating various aliments. Medicinal plants are regarded as rich resources of traditional medicines and emphasizing their pharmacological properties, clinical and therapeutic potential. The metabolites which are produced by the plants in the world are usually accountable for the biological value and characteristics of plant species used throughout the world such as secondary metabolite. The plant and derived products can control and prevent the microbial growth. In this review we estimate the general overview of the medicinal plants.
