ABSTRACT

An essential herb in Ayurvedic treatment is chlorophytum borivilianum. Chlorophytum borivilianum has been shown in numerous studies to have aphrodisiac, adaptogenic, immunomodulatory, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory etc. The goal of this review is to provide information about the medicinal uses of chlorophytum borivilianum as well as future research opportunities for the plant that could lead to the creation of potent pharmaceutical molecules.
