ABSTRACT
Desidustat inhibits PHD, resulting in the stabilisation of HIF which stimulates of HIF which stimulates erythropoietin production and erythropoiesis. It is administered oral dosage form. Desidustat is used for anaemia associated with CKD in patients either on dialysis or not on dialysis. In patients not on dialysis and untreated with an erythrocyte stimulating agent (ESA) agent. It increases the blood cells and provide the increase in the erythrocyte count. There are many articles the same. In present to review account the disclosed analytical methods are outlined for the establishment of Desidustat in its pharmaceutical preparation and biological matrices. Analytical techniques such as HPLC-RP, HPLC, UPLC plays a vital role in validation of Desidustat. HPLC parameters like lambda max, stationaryphase, mobile phase, composition, detection, wavelength, retention time are validated here. For UPLC parameters like solvent, method of detection, reports are noted. In this article, we will explore the importance of UPLC HPLC- RP in the validation process and their applications in Assessing Desidustat.
