ABSTRACT
The word Mushroom is derived from French word for fungi & mold. Mushroom have been consumed since earliest history. Mushroom are popular valuable food because they are low in calories, carbohydrates, fat, sodium & also cholesterol free, Mushroom provides important nutrients including selenium, potassium riboflavin, niacin, vit. D, proteins & fiber, mushroom are important for their healing capacity & properties in traditional medicine. Mushroom can supply lower calorific value so its’s suitable for heart patients as it also contains all kinds of amino acids needed by human body.
