Amrit Paul*, Aditya Raj and Shyamsundar Kumar
ABSTRACT
The aqueous humor, a critical fluid in the eye, performs a variety of important functions for ocular health. Its dynamic nature, which is governed by various physiological processes, ensures proper visual function. This review gives a thorough understanding of aqueous humor physiology, composition, and its critical involvement in ocular disorders. Understanding aqueous humor dynamics is critical for identifying and treating diseases including as glaucoma, cataracts, uveitis, and macular degeneration. Current methods of diagnosis and therapy procedures provide useful tools, but obstacles remain, necessitating ongoing research efforts. Advances in imaging technology and molecular biology provide promise for tailored therapies to aqueous humor-related diseases. By uncovering its complexity, we can pave the path for novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies that will eventually save vision and improve ocular health.
Keywords: Aqueous humor, ocular health, humor physiology, glaucoma.
