DEVELOPING A QUESTIONNAIRE FOR A SURVEY STUDY ON OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH HAZARDS IN THE AUTOMOTIVE & PRINTING INDUSTRY IN PERSPECTIVE OF DOOSHI VISHA

ABSTRACT
Questionnaires are essential tools in survey research, providing a structured approach to data collection. They become valuable instruments when properly constructed and administered among the target population. A questionnaire enables the researcher to collect information from a large group of people. This article outlines the detailed process of developing a questionnaire, from defining research objectives to reporting findings. Each step is designed to ensure the resulting instrument is valid, reliable, and effective in capturing the necessary data to address the research objectives. This research article elucidates the importance of adequate questions, appropriate question length, minimizing the time required to complete the questionnaire, correct ordering of questions, and appropriate scaling. The reliability & validity of questionnaire is very important in the survey analysis. Occupational health hazards are the sensitive issue in the Automotive & printing industry, so well-designed questionnaire is the only tool which accurately reflects the views and opinions of the participants. The aim of this quantitative, exploratory survey analysis study is to examine the relationship between the occupational health compliance of industrial personnel as defined, based on the concept of Dooshi Visha and occupational health status, to reduce occupational hazards and establish standards for better health lifestyle practices.
