ABSTRACT

Siddha is a holistic system of medicine, which is the mother medicine of Dravidians. According to Siddha system, diseases are caused by imbalance of the equilibrium of 3 humours (Vali, Azhal & Iyyam). In literature there is a medicine named VARATCHUNDI ENNAI, Which can be used in the treatment of VARAL MAANTHAM. This study was to evaluate the phytochemical properties of trial drug.
