ABSTRACT
Herbs are used for flavoring, coloring, body beauty, and cosmetic preparation. The main objective of the current study is to create and assess herbal hair oil using fresh components of different plants. Testing was done on the phytochemicals, general features, physical attributes, and chemicals of the manufactured herbal hair oil. The Indian Pharmacopoeia standards were followed in the production of the herbal oil. Herbs like Allium cepa bulb, Nigella sativa and Trigonella foenum graecum seeds, Phyllanthus Emblica and Cucumis sativus fruit, Brassica oleracea leaves, and Zingiber officinale rhizome are included in the formulation. Numerous parameters, including organoleptic properties, phytochemical screening, and physical properties like viscosity, pH, acid value, Saponification value, Refractive index, Specific gravity and anti-microbial activity, were used to assess the formulation of herbal hair oil. It is assessed for stability research as well. After examination, it was determined that allof the previously mentioned parameters fell within reasonable bounds. Ultimately, the prepared herbal hair oil is applied to promote hair growth, restore vitamins and minerals, stop split ends and dandruff, and offer a safe substitute for harmful chemicals.
