ABSTRACT
Marma points, regarded as vital points in the body, are pivotal intersections of muscles, veins, ligaments, bones, and joints, wherein Prana (Life force) naturally resides. Trauma to these points can result in severe consequences, including death or disability, as elucidated by Acharya Sushruta. Among the 107 Marma points described, Stanamool and Stanarohita Marma stand out as Madhyasharirgata Marma, both categorized as Kalantar Pranhar Marma due to their critical nature. This study aims to compile literature on Stanamool and Stanarohita Marma from classical and Ayurvedic texts, while also integrating modern understanding. Additionally, a cadaveric study will be conducted to provide further insights into these Marma points. This comprehensive review seeks to enhance our understanding of these crucial Marma points and their relevance in contemporary medicalpractice.
