ABSTRACT
Influenza remains a major global wellness concern, with its annual outbreaks causing substantial illness and fatalities universal. recent years have witnessed remarkable strides in the assessment and management of this infectious disease. This review explores the latest breakthroughs in both influenza diagnosis and treatment, highlighting advancements that promise to revolutionize patient care. The improved diagnostic techniques facilitate timely initiation of appropriate treatment and implementation of infection control measures. In recent days novel antiviral drugs are developed to treat influenza. Additionally, the development of universal influenza vaccines improves influenza prevention. In conclusion, recent breakthroughs in influenza diagnosis and treatment herald a new era in influenza care, characterized by enhanced diagnostic precision, expanded therapeuticoptions. Purpose of Review: Overall, the purpose of such a review is to provide healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers with a comprehensive overview of influenza management and diagnosis, informing clinical practice and guiding future research directions.
