ABSTRACT
Most commercial soaps contain synthetic ingredients and chemicals that can cause skin irritation or even damage. Human skin requires specialised care to promote healing, a more even skin tone, and a healthy glow. Another good choice is herbal soaps that can be found in nature. Herbal products serve two purposes: firstly, they are used as body care cosmetics and, secondly, their botanical and photochemical content promotes naturally healthy skin. Using herbal products and practicing herbalism are currently fashionable trends. The most widely used source of Indian herbs in the cosmetics industry is their abundance. The use of herbal products is expanding quickly worldwide as more people become aware of their cost- effectiveness and health benefits. In this research, we used the cold process technique to create a herbal soap. In order to make herbal soap, coconut oil, Glycerin, Moringa oleifera extract, C. sinensis peel Powder, and sodiumhydroxide were used, and the various extracts were afterwards combined into the primary saponification process. After completion of the herbal formulation, it was tested for its pH, moisture content, foaming index, foam retention time, and high temperature stability studies. The findings for the manufactured herbal soap reveal that these soap are convenient, generates nice foam on application and do not exhibit any skin irritation.
