INCORPORATING MODERN PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES IN AYURVEDA EDUCATION

ABSTRACT
This research explores the integration of modern pedagogical methods in Ayurveda education. Ayurveda, a millennia-old system of medicine, offers rich traditional knowledge that must be adapted to contemporary educational standards to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. This article evaluates various modern teaching strategies such as blended learning, problem-based learning, interdisciplinary approaches, technology-enhanced learning, evidence-based education, student-centered learning, and continuous assessment. The study demonstrates how these methods can be effectively applied to Ayurveda education to create a more holistic, interactive, and effective learning environment. Also, This study is helpful for lecturers who intend to appear for NTET exams to qualify themselves as faculty in the Ayurveda Colleges.
