AN AYURVEDIC REVIEW ON TYPES OF INFERTILITY WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO VANDHYATWA

ABSTRACT

In today’s modern era, Infertility is the greatest challenge in front of human being. Due to disturbed and sedentary life style, Male and Female infertility takes place and which causes bad impact on reproduction of human being. In modern science short description is given about types of infertility, but Ayurveda science which is the ocean of ancient knowledge gives various types of Vandhyatwa, which are clinically important. In order to cure the infertility, one should study the different types of infertility (Vandhyatwa), which are told by different acharyas. In this article, we are going to review different types as per different ayurvedic texts.
