ABSTRACT
Leucorrhea refers to a whitish or yellowish discharge from the vagina, which may vary in consistency and odor. While leucorrhea is often considered a normal physiological phenomenon, excessive or abnormal discharge can be indicative of underlying health issues such as infections, hormonal imbalances, or reproductive tract disorders. This abstract aims to provide a comprehensive overview of leucorrhea, including its etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approach, and management strategies. Additionally, it discusses the importance of differentiating between physiological and pathological leucorrhea, as well as the significance of patient education and preventive measures in promoting women's reproductive health. Through a thorough understanding of leucorrhea, healthcare professionals can effectively diagnose and manage this common gynecological condition, thereby improving the quality of life for affected individuals.
