ABSTRACT
In this study, green synthesis of silver nanoparticles was done using aqueous leaf extracts of Azadirachta indica. The flavonoids and ter penoids present in the leaf extract act as both reducing and capping agent. Anti cancer activity for MTT assay using cell lines (HepG2) and mono layer cell culture reference standard drug used Doxorubicin. Various techniques were used to characterize synthesized silver nanoparticles such as analytical study of SEM, DLS and FTIR. The absorbance was measured using a micro plate reader at a wavelength of 570 nm. This is a very rapid and cost-effective method for generation of silver nanoparticle at room temperature, however, its exact dose in water purification has to be determined. Keywords: Green synthesis, Silver nanoparticles (AgNP), Azadirachtaindica, Anticancer (HepG2), Doxorubicin. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
