ABSTRACT
Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug analog of Diclofenac. It is used for the relief of pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. The official method of analysis of Aceclofenac is a potentiometric method. Several UV spectrophotometric, HPLC methods in pure form, pharmaceutical formulation and HPTLC methods have been reported to determine. Thiocolchicoside is a central-acting muscle relaxant and is used in combination with many NSAIDs for the treatment of various musculoskeletal disorders. As it is less sedative than other centrally acting muscle relaxants hence frequently prescribed for low back pain (LBP), orthopedic, traumatic and rheumatologic disorders. It is available in the market in single component and as multi- component formulations. Various analytical methods are available fordetermination of Thiocolchicoside in drug substances and formulated products. This review provides an overview of various analytical techniques used for Aceclofenac and Thiocolchicoside determination both in a single preparation and in combination
