FORMULATION & EVALUATION OF ANALGESIC POLYHERBAL OINTMENT

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to formulate and evaluate an analgesic polyherbal ointment using a combination of potent medicinal plants. The herbal pain relief ointment mixture of ointment like eucalyptus extract and turmeric extract and orange peel extract and mint oil. Various formulations were prepared using standardized methods, incorporating key herbal extract known for their analgesic properties and its excipient compatibility preformulation study investigated to determine its suitable for analgesic polyherbal ointment various parameters Such as solubility, Powder flow properties, Ash value, Phytochemical testing were evaluated to understand the characteristics of herbal ingredient. The results demonstrated that the formulated polyherbal ointment exhibited promising analgesic effect, suggesting its potential application in the management of pain. Further studies are warranted toexplore its clinical efficacy and safety for human use.
