ABSTRACT
The WHO defines traditional medicine as the total sum of the knowledge skills and Practices that based on theories, beliefs, experienced indigenous to different Cultures for the maintenance of the health, prevention and diagnosis. The siddha Medicine is one of the most ancient medical system of India and it is followed Predominantly in Tamilnadu and Kerala. In siddha system both bite and sting are referred as KADI. The traditional medicine has its own role in treating poisonous Bites (Visha kadi). The Traditional healers in Dharmapuri district are treating Poisonous bites very well by using internal and external medicines.
