Normal names are Jambul, Dark Plum, Java Plum, Indian Blackberry, Jamblang, Jamun and so forth. All parts of the tree, especially the seeds, are used to treat a variety of diseases, the most important of which is diabetes mellitus. The leaves of this plant have a turpentine-like smell and are pinkish when youthful, yet change to a rough, polished dull green with a yellow midrib as they mature. They are a superb wellspring of nourishment for animals and have perfect healthy benefit. The cumin seeds have stomachic, antispasmodic, diuretic, emmenagogic, and abortifacient properties. Oleoresin got from the seeds is generally utilized in saltines, sauces, meat items, and frankfurters. Syzygium Cumini Seed extract exhibited significant In-vitro antiurolithiatic activity.
