A REVIEW ON THE TETRAZOLE AND THEIR DERIVATIVES AS A POTENTIAL PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIVITY

ABSTRACT

Many bioactive heterocyclic compounds that are of great interest due to their many biological, pharmacological, and therapeutic applications contain tetrazole and its derivatives. This paper seeks to give a broad review of the tetrazole moieties various pharmacological actions. This analysis emphasized recently published accounts of tetrazole's antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer, hypertension, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties are in addition to its effect on inflammation and hypertension. The aim of this review was to compile the literature on tetrazole's diverse pharmacological actions as described by researchers, and to report on the latest efforts made in this domain.
