A BRIEF REVIEW OF LITERATURE ON SUTIKA PARICHARYA WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO DIFFERENT AYURVEDA SAMHITAS

ABSTRACT

Ayurveda is the ancient science which describes all about life. It can be defined as, the science which tells you about the types of life i.e. Hitayu, Ahitayu, Sukhayu and Dukhayu, all that is required for its welfare and all that can harm the life and life style, lastly it predicts about the length of the life.

The science is divided in eight parts which deals with the different aspects of the life and the disorders. “Bal” is one of the major parts of Ashtanga Ayurveda. It deals with child birth, its growth, diseases and treatment and the mother mainly. To be a mother is the unique grating of a boon to a female. The motherhood is the most happiest and the pleasant Moment in her life. But the happiness can only be felt and given, if she has a healthy motherhood. The babys growth depends totally on mothers mental and physical health. The baby male or a female decides tomorrows healthy parenthood; and this chain never interrupts giving rise to a healthy, well built society.
